PALM BAY, Fla. – Palm Bay police say they have identified and arrested the man accused of inappropriately exposing himself to a girl near Southwest Middle School. | News 6 anchors share drama stories]Detectives say the 31-year-old approached the victim along Eldron Boulevard Friday in a black SUV. Ramos-Rodriguez asked the girl if she wanted to get into the car while exposing himself to her, according to a Palm Bay Police Department release. Palm Bay police applauded the girl for having the courage to come forward. Chase said her daughter wanted to cooperate with the police because she was afraid the suspect could expose himself to another child.

The Palm Bay Police Department is investigating an incident on Friday where a man approached a girl along Eldron Boulevard near Southwest Middle School. The man, described by police in his 20s or 30s, was driving a black SUV and asked the girl if she wanted to get in the car while exposing himself to her, police said. Detectives are reviewing video from the area and an extra police presence will be in the area to ensure the safety of children, according to police.
