Magic All-Star center Nikola Vucevic scored 34 points, but missed out on his 24th double-double by two rebounds.

However, Orlando outscored the Warriors 31-14 the rest of the way by getting three 3-pointers from rookie forward Chuma Okeke and a strong closing kick from Vucevic. Vucevic made two free throws with 16 seconds left to put Orlando ahead 123-120 after Warriors star Stephen Curry hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the final minute. He notched his 12th straight game with at least 25 points despite making just 11 of 29 shots and only 6 of 16 3-pointers. … Vucevic had the highlight of the night when he drove hard to the rim and dunked with authority over Green.

The guard, who entered the night 10th in the NBA with 26.5 points per game, had another 12 points before exiting for good. Leonard and George both played 28 minutes and were rested early after the lead ballooned to as much as 27 points in the fourth quarter. Horford drilled a straight-on 3-pointer with 50 seconds to play, sending the Thunder on their way to the second road victory of the season. Magic: Orlando entered Saturday last in the league in 3-point attempts (26.8) and makes (8.8) per game.

CHARLOTTE – Evan Fournier hit six three-point shots in the Orlando Magic’s 106-83 win against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night. Fournier finished the game with 26 points. He wasn’t the only player on the Magic making shots from three-point land. Orlando shot 50 percent from three, Charlotte shot 30 percent from beyond the arc. Charlotte’s next game is against the Milwaukee Bucks on Jan. 24 and Orlando’s next game is against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.

CLEVELAND – The Orlando Magic beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 93-87 for the team’s fourth straight win on Friday night. Terrence Ross was the star of the game with 21 points, he made four 3-point shots on the night. The Magic went 20-23 from the foul line on Friday. Orlando held the Cavs to 62 points in the last three quarters of the game. The Magic are 11-11 on the year and Cavs are 5-16.

DeMar DeRozan scored 21 for the Spurs, who shot 50.6 percent from the field but gave up 64 points in the second half. A flagrant foul call helped the Magic maintain their lead in the final seconds. Gordon made the free throws and the Magic kept the ball, enabling Nikola Vucevic to add another foul shot for a four-point edge. The Spurs shot 53 percent in the first half and led 56-47 at halftime.
