Voters in four Central Florida counties on Tuesday decided the Republican and Democratic candidates for a special election to replace Mike Waltz in U.S. House District 6.

An April 1 date has been set for a special election to fill the congressional seat that Rep. Mike Waltz is leaving.

Qualifying is over for federal elections, and most of the people who represent the Central Florida area will have to fend off primary challenges in their congressional districts.
