Recently, it also happened in Cocoa Beach just a few miles away. Around the time of Hurricane Dorian, Cocoa Beach police said kilos of cocaine washed up. The Sheriff’s Office said Monday’s one kilo is worth about $30,000. “It’s a moneymaker for somebody so somebody needs to get the drugs here for consumption, unfortunately,” beachgoer Frank Hendrickson said.
