A Central Florida man says an identity thief used a fraudulent deed to take possession of his vacant land and then tried to sell the property to an unsuspecting buyer.

A digital forensic expert says in order to prevent your private data and images from being accessed during a phone repair, either stand next to the technician the entire time or delete all images.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man is in critical condition after a shooting in a parking lot in Ocoee, according to police. Ocoee Police said around 6:15 p.m. officers responded to a shooting at the Clarke Road Plaza parking lot on Silver Star Road. Police said officers found a man shot and he was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Investigators said anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call police at 407-905-3160. Suspect information has not been released at this time.

WINDERMERE, Fla. – Two men were beaten to death and a woman was seriously injured late Thursday during an attack at a home in a gated Windermere community while a 10-year-old boy called authorities while hiding in a bathroom, police said. Hopkins then went inside the home, where he beat Lisa Savey and her son, James Savey, who was killed, according to police. According to officials, Ocoee Police noticed Hopkins’ car early in the night and thought it was suspicious but later disregarded.
