MELBOURNE, Fla. – A northbound lane of Interstate 95 is blocked in West Melbourne after a claw dump truck overturned Wednesday at Exit 180.
Brevard County Fire Rescue officials said they extracted the driver, who was trapped for two hours. That person was sent to an area hospital as a trauma alert.

Officials said the dump truck was heading north on I-95 when the front left tire suffered a tire tread separation and the driver lost control. The dump truck swerved across all the lanes and hit the guardrail and overturned.
Officials said traffic is backed up until County Road 516.
The crash is still under investigation.
