OCALA, Fla. – A 17-year-old high school student was killed late Wednesday in a fiery crash in Ocala, according to authorities.
Ocala police said Eliber Paz, who attended Belleview High School, died in the wreck, which was reported at 10:12 p.m. on SW 48th Avenue.

According to Ocala police, a vehicle exiting the Fore Ranch subdivision crashed into a tree and caught fire. Paz was found dead in the vehicle, police said.
"We extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends who are grieving today. You will remain in our thoughts," police tweeted.
Grief counselors will be available at Belleview High on Thursday.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and school family at this time," Marion County Public Schools said in a statement.
Police tweeted that it was believed speed was a factor in the crash.
