MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol said Tuesday that a death in Brevard County was not the result of a crash, despite troopers initially investigating the incident.
The incident happened on Aurora Road near Melbourne.

“After further investigation, this was determined not to be the result of a crash,” the FHP said in an email to News 6.
The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office took over the investigation and said the incident stemmed from a fall, but no other details have been released.
