Car pulled from pond in downtown Orlando

Driver safely escapes vehicle near I-4 and SR-408

ORLANDO, Fla. – A car was pulled from a pond early Tuesday in downtown Orlando, but few other details are known.

A four-door sedan crashed into the pond at the I-4 eastbound ramp to State Road 408 east.

The driver was able to safely get out of the vehicle, but no other information about the crash has been released.

A tow truck pulled the silver-colored car from the water.

One lane of the ramp was blocked, but it was reopened after the car was towed away.
