OCALA, Fla. – Residents can get an up-close look at the latest plans for a new exit on Interstate 75 north of Ocala.
Florida is planning to build a new “diverging diamond” interchange along the highway near northwest 49th Street.

Officials hope the exit will help keep up with growth in the area and boost nearby businesses.
A public meeting on the project is being held at 5:30 p.m. at the Southeastern Livestock Pavilion on NE Jacksonville Road.
Construction is scheduled to begin in fall 2024.
