FLORIDA – Florida E-PASS customers may be eligible for discounts and toll credit thanks to a new toll relief program, according to a release from the Central Florida Expressway Authority.

E-PASS customers with one transponder registered to their account will receive a 50% toll credit on all toll transactions for the month if they accrue more than 35 transactions within that month on any Florida toll road, the release says

Likewise, E-PASS customers with more than one transponder registered to their account will receive a 50% toll credit for each transponder with more than 35 transactions per month on any Florida toll road, according to Communications Manager Brian Hutchings.

Hutchings added that customers won’t need to sign up to be eligible for the program, which will post any toll credit to eligible accounts automatically the following month.

“They just need to have two-axle vehicles, meet the minimum monthly toll transactions and keep their account in good standing,” Hutchings said.

As for commercial and business customers with vehicles that have more than two axles, they will continue to benefit from the E-PASS Volume Savings Program, which provides a 20% discount for transponders with 40-79 transactions per month and a 25% discount for those with 80 accruals or more.

The toll relief program applies to the Florida’s Turnpike System and other toll roads, including the Beachline Expressway, the Central Florida GreeneWay and Osceola Parkway.

The program is set to run from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023. For more information on the program and qualifying roadways, click here.
