OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A crash on the Florida Turnpike temporarily closed the southbound lanes in Osceola County on Sunday afternoon, according to FL 511.
The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the turnpike before mile marker 223 and had traffic backed up to around mile marker 225.

According to the FHP, the crash happened around 3:40 p.m. and involved two vehicles, a Subaru Outback being driven by a 66-year-old woman from Coral Gables and a Nissan Altima being driven by a 26-year-old man from Hialeah.
Troopers said one person was taken to a local hospital, but their condition was not released.
All lanes are now open as of 4:59 p.m., troopers said.
