A Range Rover SUV was traveling south in the outside lane when the right front of the vehicle struck the bicyclist, who troopers believe was riding between the outside lane and outside paved shoulder.
According to a crash report, the Range Rover’s driver and sole occupant — a 40-year-old Port Orange woman — advised she did not see the bicycle ahead of her because it had no lights on. She was not injured in the crash and remained at the scene, troopers said.
