Paving project set to begin on this Orange County road

Traffic will be maintained during work along South Dean Road

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A repaving project along South Dean Road will begin on Monday and last through the end of August, according to Orange County Public Works.

The county announced in a news release Thursday that crews will be working on the paving project along Dean Road starting July 22. The construction area, which extends from Curry Ford Road to Lake Underhill Road, will be active weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Traffic will be maintained in both directions throughout the construction period, according to officials. However, intermittent lane closures will be required, and motorists should expect a traffic delay during the active hours.

Variable message boards are in place along the road to alert drivers of the upcoming project information.
