SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving two semitrucks on Interstate 4 in Seminole County, according to firefighters.
The crash occurred around 5 a.m. on I-4 eastbound in the area of mile marker 96, between Longwood and Lake Mary, the Seminole County Fire Department said on social media.
Photos of the scene show what appears to be the aftermath of a semitruck being rear-ended by another semitruck, though the post states “three cars” were involved in the wreck. A diesel spill at the scene required a hazmat response, the post added.
The two people hurt in the crash were hospitalized in stable condition, according to the post.
