The FHP said the 52-year-old man was traveling east on LBV Factory Stores Drive approaching the roundabout at Poinciana Boulevard when he failed to negotiate the roundabout and collided with a raised curb.

The vehicle landed in the pond and became fully submerged, according to the FHP.

The man was rescued and taken to Celebration Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, troopers said.

There is currently a roadblock within the roundabout, and the crash remains under investigation.
