Lumber-hauling semi overturns, blocks lanes on Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A semitruck overturned on Florida’s Turnpike in Orange County, spilling lumber and blocking some lanes, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 10:36 a.m. near State Road 528, mile marker 254, in the northbound lanes.

Troopers said a couple lanes were blocked but the wreck was cleared just before 1 p.m.

The semitruck driver, a 47-year-old man, was not injured.

An investigation is ongoing.
