COLLEGE PARK, Fla. – Four people were hospitalized after a pickup truck struck a building Friday on the outskirts of College Park, according to the Orlando Fire Department.

Firefighters responded in the afternoon to the 2000 block of N. Rio Grande Drive, the fire department said on social media.

Five patients were evaluated at the scene, four of whom were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, the post states, adding the building was evaluated for stability.

One Heart for Women and Children, the community food pantry that the truck crashed into, made a statement Saturday on social media describing how one of its community members was among those hospitalized after the crash.

Today, we are processing a truly heartbreaking event. A car crashed into the front of One Heart, and four of our community members were hospitalized, including our very own Stephanie. We are relieved to report that everyone is doing better, but the road to recovery will take time.

Right now, we’re relying on the love and support of our incredible community more than ever. Please keep Stephanie and everyone impacted in your thoughts, send them love, prayers, and strength as they heal.

We will keep you all updated on what next week will look like as we navigate through this. Thank you for your continued support and kindness.
