FWC approves Split Oak land deal as opponents jeer

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has agreed to release 60 acres of protected land within the Split Oak Forest Wildlife and Environmental Area to the Central Florida Expressway Authority, which plans to build an extension of Osceola Parkway.
