Mobile home rental lots increase in price. What one Florida lawmaker is trying to do about it

A state lawmaker says large corporations are buying up mobile home parks in Florida and jacking up the prices. In two weeks, a new law, HB 613, takes effect to try to stop it. State Rep. Paula Stark, who co-authored the legislation, said she did it after hearing dozens of horror stories about unacceptable amenities and rising lot rents.
