Freeze warnings, advisories issued in Central Florida

Temperatures plummet with near-record lows

The Arctic Blast is doing its worst to Central Florida Tuesday night.

Marion County is under a hard freeze warning with the low in Ocala set to drop to 26 degrees.

Flagler and Sumter Counties are under a freeze warning with temps dropping below 32 for at least an hour or two.

The rest of Central Florida is under a Wind Chill Advisory until 8 a.m. The overnight low in Orlando will be 39 degrees-- 3 degrees away from the record low of 36.

Wednesday looks a little better with more more sun and no more rain. Look for the high Wednesday afternoon to make it back to 63 degrees -- still well below the normal high of 78.

Wednesday night will be cool, but not as cold with a low in the lower 40s.

Thursday we get a little more warmth with a high of 71.

Friday looks better with a high of 73.

By Saturday we have a slight chance of rain and a high of 77. Sunday's rain chance goes to 30 percent and the high rushes to 83 degrees.
