More rain on the way. Here’s when Central Florida will get some relief

Highs in Orlando in low 80s; strong rips

ORLANDO, Fla. – We are pinpointing another inconvenient weather day Friday across Central Florida, with the main threat being heavy rain that could lead to flooding.

There will be a chance for some lightning, but it won’t be widespread.

Expect a high coverage of rain for as a front continues to be stalled near our area.

An area of low pressure continues to ride along the front, acting as a focal point for rain in the afternoon and evening.

By the weekend, the front moves away, as does the area of low pressure.

Our rain chances will dip to 20% on Saturday and Sunday and 10% on Memorial Day.

We will see strong rip currents and high seas at the beaches for all of the holiday weekend.

Expect high temperatures in the low 80s for the next few days.
