Storms could turn severe in Central Florida. This area is most at risk

Warming into the 90s

ORLANDO, Fla. – We are pinpointing another Inconvenient Weather Day as a front continues to bring afternoon showers and storms to Central Florida.

The Storm Prediction Center says eastern counties of the region are under a marginal risk for severe weather on Friday.

Rain chances are up to 60% on Friday and 50% on Saturday and Sunday.

Expect high temperatures above 90 degrees in Orlando through the weekend.

Highs are expected to reach 94 on Sunday and Monday.

High temperatures will reach the mid-90s by the middle of next week, with rain chances remaining high.

We will continue to have high seas and dangerous rip currents at the beaches.
