ORLANDO, Fla. – We are talking about the coldest weather of the season heading our way Saturday night.
We’re all under a wind chill advisory through the overnight hours and many of us will wake up to temperatures feeling like the 20s. Marion and Sumter counties are under freeze warnings from 1 a.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday.
The cold air is settling in behind a front that went through yesterday. You can expect to see some spots below freezing tonight in areas northwest of Interstate 4.
Thirty-nine degrees is the forecast overnight low for Orlando, set between slightly higher temperatures in the 40s expected along the coast and lows as cold as 29 degrees in Gainesville.

We’ll begin to see clouds thinning north-to-south across our area as the day goes on. By the afternoon, we should see a lot of sunshine.
From there, a little bit of cloud cover along the coast as we roll into the day tomorrow and we’ll see a mix of sun and clouds for our Sunday.
