ORLANDO, Fla. – Moisture from an old stationary front to our south will remain suspended over Central Florida on Friday, keeping skies mostly cloudy with a few scattered showers possible through the evening.
Highs by the afternoon will warm to near 80 degrees, with lows staying mild in the mid-60s in the Orlando area.

A less than ideal weekend weather setup is expected as a weak front nears the region, dragging in pulses of energy both Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, models are not in unison with the exact timing and location of rain development.
The latest model runs show increasing rain of 40-50% across most of the area on Saturday afternoon before later increasing into the evening and then again Sunday afternoon. The best way to describe the weekend would be to compare it to an early summer season setup where weak sea breezes collide producing pop-up showers and storms.
The main impacts will be pockets of moderate to heavy rain with an isolated storm or two.
Each morning, patchy fog will be likely due to lingering moisture overnight, with lows in the mid- to upper 60s.
