ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida enjoyed a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, with daytime highs hitting 80°F in Orlando.
As the day progresses, isolated showers remain possible, particularly south of the I-4 corridor. There’s still sufficient energy in the atmosphere for the formation of one or two thunderstorms.
The Storm Prediction Center has revised its outlook, indicating a decreased risk of severe weather for the rest of Wednesday, with the exception of southern Brevard County, where a ‘Marginal Risk’ persists.
Tonight, expect increasing clouds as a weak cold front moves through, it’ll keep rain chances at 20% for isolated showers.
Overnight, temperatures are forecasted to drop into the lower 60s.
Early Thursday morning, anticipate the development of patchy dense fog. However, it is expected to dissipate before 9 a.m.
By Thursday afternoon, an area of high pressure will shift in, bringing clearing skies and allowing daytime high temperatures to warm into the lower 80s.
