ORLANDO, Fla. – At least it wasn’t that humid, right? After what has been an unsettled and cool winter to date, the Sunshine State reminded us on Saturday what it’s known for.
Orlando, officially recorded its first 90-degree day of the year and first since Oct. 13 of last year.
On average, Orlando doesn’t see its first 90 degree day until Apr. 8.
The 90 degree temperature also broke the daily record of 89 degrees set back in 1905.
Daily high temperature records were also broken in Leesburg and Daytona Beach. Sanford tied its record for the day at 89 degrees.
Melbourne officially record a high temperature of 87 degrees missing its record by two degrees.
