ORLANDO, Fla. – The coolest air in about two weeks has arrived in Central Florida, with temperatures Monday starting off in the 40s and 50s.
High pressure over the southeast will slide toward the eastern seaboard through the day, keeping Central Florida under a mostly dry stretch.

Skies will be partly sunny Monday as temperatures remain below average -- in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Monday night into early Tuesday morning, lows are forecast to dip back into the 40s and 50s before we begin the warmup.
The warmup will kick start on Tuesday, with highs near 80 degrees.
Temperatures climb into the upper 80s through the weekend. Some 90-degree values could be possible by Saturday and Sunday.
In the rain the department, we could see a slight bump in rain chances as moisture tracks in from the Gulf of Mexico. A few isolated showers will be possible late Wednesday.
A more potent surge of moisture arrives by the weekend ahead of the next approaching system. Coverage is expected to increase to 20-30% on Sunday and 40% next Monday.
