ORLANDO, Fla. – A weak surface low remains just off the Florida east coast, promoting a steady northeast wind (10-15mph) for much of the area.
The setup will aid in the development of the east coast sea breeze Tuesday afternoon, with rain chances at 40% in the Orlando area and the threat of coastal showers in the morning followed by scattered showers and storms further inland by the afternoon.

Afternoon temperatures remain warm, with highs in the upper 80s inland and the mid-80s along the coast.
The unsettled weather pattern we’ve been under will transition into a much drier setup as a large ridge of high pressure takes full control. The lack of rain will allow temperatures to soar back into the mid-90s for the rest of the week, with “feels like” temperatures close to 100.
By the long holiday weekend, a southerly shift in our winds is forecast to heat up temperatures into the mid-90s and increase rain coverage back to an average 30-40%.
