HOT but not as humid in Central Florida. Here’s your weekend forecast

ORLANDO, Fla. – High pressure north of Florida will continue to build in, increasing the onshore breeze in Central Florida by Friday afternoon and into the weekend.

Expect winds to pick up out of the northeast at 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 25mph.

Winds pick up Friday and Saturday, so boating conditions will continue to deteriorate as seas build to 3-4 feet with a moderate chop.

With a cooler ocean breeze, highs will hold closer to near normal -- in the upper 80s to low 90s.

The seasonal temperatures continue through the weekend, with limited rain and clouds expected.

Next week, moisture will begin to seep back into the area, with rain and storm chances slowly increasing to 20-30% by Monday and up to 30-50% by midweek.

TROPICS

Hurricane season officially begins on Saturday and runs through November.

Although the National Hurricane Center is watching several tropical waves, no significant tropical development is expected over the next week.
