Orlando – Showers and thunderstorms on the radar this evening will continue to fade getting closer to sunset. Overnight expect partly-to-mostly-cloudy skies in the mid 70s.
Sunday starts off dry and heats up fast.
The tropical moisture lingering in the air will support times of heavy rain by the afternoon, especially as sea breezes collide in the late afternoon during peak heating. Highs will rebound to the upper 80s to low 90s, but will feel like 102-107 degrees due to the continued high humidity. Rain chances are 50-60% from the afternoon through sunset.
By the evening, the storms will slow down and clear out for the night.
Each day in the upcoming work week expect sea breeze collision storms in the afternoon through the early evening. Rain chances are 60% with highs in the low 90s. Heat indices remain elevated in the triple digits as well.
