ORLANDO, Fl. – A cool front dipping into Florida won’t necessarily bring cooler air to the Orlando area, but it will break the humidity for a few days.
It’s still going to be hot, but a nice push of dry air is expected by late Thursday. The drier air could bring the coolest temperatures Central Florida has seen since early June.

Most of Central Florida will see morning temperatures drop to the low 70s, with some areas north of Orlando possibly falling into the upper 60s. Coastal areas will stay in the mid-to upper 70s due to the warm Atlantic Ocean.
It will still be hot over the next several days, but it won’t feel oppressive.
Afternoon highs will stay in the low 90s, but the humidity will be lower.
Dew point temperatures are expected to be in the lower 70s and upper 60s, meaning that it’s going to feel comfortable.
The drier air means no rain is expected across Central Florida on Friday and Saturday.
Rain chances go up to 20% on Sunday.
Of course, this brief relief won’t last. By Monday, the humidity will return and by mid-week, things will be back to normal.
