ORLANDO, Fla. – Another pleasant summer day is ahead for Central Florida.
Afternoon highs will be in the upper 90s, but thanks to lower-than-usual humidity, it will actually feel like those upper 90s. Some dry air will linger through most of Sunday, but it will thin out later, bringing back the moisture.
If you’re planning on heading out to the ocean, a high rip current risk remains in place for all east coast beaches.

Isolated showers are possible today, with a few downpours near sunset in northern counties.
On Monday, expect humidity to return, with morning temperatures feeling muggy. Highs will reach the mid-to-upper 90s and there’s a 30% chance of isolated showers. Rain chances will increase to 50% by Tuesday and continue to rise through the week as a stalled front keeps the weather unsettled.
Pinpointing the tropics:
Tropical Storm Ernesto is still spinning in the northern Atlantic. It’s expected to strengthen back into a Category 1 hurricane by Sunday afternoon. However, as it moves over cooler waters this week, it will weaken. There are no tropical threats to Central Florida at this time.
