ORLANDO, Fla. – Rain chances are a bit lower than in recent days as Central Florida is tapping into a little more drier air with a 30-50% chance of isolated showers and storms.
Expect some scattered showers between about 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. along our coastline. As the east coast sea breeze pushes further inland, scattered storms are possible between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. between I-4 and I-75. Most of the activity will push out toward the Gulf Coast by around 5-6 p.m.
Highs will be running near normal in the mid to low 90s with feels like temperatures running between 100-105 degrees.
Expect more of the same through the majority of the week before higher moisture content returns by the weekend with the chance for rain increasing to 60%.
The National Hurricane Center is currently monitoring one tropical wave in the tropical Atlantic, giving it a 20% chance of further development in the next seven days.
We will closely watch it as it approaches the northern Caribbean islands later next week.
