ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will experience breezy conditions today with winds continuing to pick up from the south, which will increase humidity levels.
There is a 40 to 50% chance of rain on Saturday, so residents are advised to keep their rain gear handy in case of downpours.
Temperatures will reach a high of 92 degrees in Orlando, with partly cloudy skies expected in areas that do not receive rain.

For those heading to the beach, it will be a decent day out, but caution is urged due to strong rip currents.
The water temperature is 82 degrees with the surf zone experiencing waves between 3 to 4 feet.
Beachgoers should be mindful of these conditions, especially if planning to swim.
Pinpointing the tropics:
The remnants of Helene are bringing in some dry air. However, more attention is being given to potential new developments in the tropics.
The National Hurricane Center is monitoring the western Caribbean Sea and parts of the Gulf of Mexico for a 40% chance of tropical development over the next seven days. This could potentially lead to the formation of a tropical depression later in the week.
