COCOA BEACH, Fla. – As many as eight buildings and possibly some homes in Brevard County sustained damage Wednesday from what’s believed to be a tornado spawned by Hurricane Milton.
The damage happened from 1600 N. Atlantic Avenue to St. Croix Avenue, Brevard County Fire Rescue said.
“Major damage to multiple buildings ... potential families displaced,” officials said.

BCFR said powerlines were down across North Atlantic Avenue and South Banana River Boulevard, which is closed.
News 6 reporter recorded video of major damage to a Supercuts and Florida Eye Associates.
A witness posted photos on X, showing damage to a nearby Wells Fargo bank.
Florida Power & Light, firefighters and police crews were called to the scene.
