In the Tropics
Overnight, Tropical Storm Nadine formed off the coast of Belize. The storm is expected to track westward, bringing the risk of flash flooding to parts of Mexico, Guatemala and Belize.
Meanwhile, the National Hurricane Center is also monitoring Invest 94L, located just north of Hispaniola. This area of disturbed weather has been given a 60% chance of further tropical development over the next seven days. As it moves west, it is expected to encounter strong upper-level winds, which should limit any significant development.
