Tropical update
Although the National Hurricane Center is not officially highlighting any new areas to monitor, long range models have been picking up a few signs that some tropical development could develop in the southwestern Caribbean Sea.
Over the past few days, the trends have remained consistent, which is why confidence is increasing a bit.
Development in this area in the Caribbean is typical for late season storms, along with a zone around Cuba and the Bahamas.
IF anything develops, it looks to do so by Halloween or at the start of November. This serves as a reminder that hurricane season continues through Nov. 30.
