Trick or treat? Here’s your Halloween forecast in Central Florida

Expect breezy Halloween evening in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will experience a breezy yet pleasant Halloween evening as locals head out for trick-or-treating.

Temperatures are forecasted to reach a high of 84 degrees, slightly above average, with minimal rain chances at around 10%.

Halloween Hourly

The evening temperatures will cool to the mid-70s along the coast and low-70s inland, providing “spooktacular” conditions for all outdoor evening festivities.

Trick or Treat Temps

Due to the strong breeze, beachgoers and boaters should exercise caution due to a high risk of rip currents and a small craft advisory.

The region is under a high surf advisory with potential for some minor coastal flooding and beach erosion, particularly coinciding with high tides. Winds along the coastline are expected to reach 25 to 30 mph, while further inland winds will be around 10 to 15 mph.

As we head into the first weekend of November, expect more of the same conditions with highs hovering slightly above average in the mid 80s with a few sprinkles around.

Development in the Caribbean

We are closely monitoring a tropical disturbance with a 50% chance of storm formation in the Caribbean over the next seven days.

The potential storm could develop by the weekend, though its exact path and intensity remains uncertain.

Tropics - Thursday

Models are currently suggesting a westward trajectory, which could see the system moving either into the Gulf of Mexico or toward the Yucatan Peninsula by next week. This remains an area that needs to be closely watched with low worry at this point.
