Another cold front brings scattered showers to Central Florida. Here’s the timing

30-50% chance of showers in the afternoon

ORLANDO, Fla. – Monday will be the warmest day of the week, as Central Florida remains ahead of the next approaching cold front.

Before the front moves in, high temperatures will be depend on location, with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s north of I-4 and the mid-70s further south.

As the front nears later into the evening hours, moisture will be on the rise with a 30-50% chance of showers starting in the afternoon and spreading southward into the evening. Rain looks to remain light with minimal accumulation.

As clouds linger into the overnight hours, lows are expected to stay in the low 50s with northern counties dipping into the upper 40s.

The cold front will slowly move out of the area by daybreak on Tuesday. After that, conditions should stay mostly dry through the end of the week, with high pressure keeping control.

Temperatures will stay below normal through the week, with highs in the 50s and 60s, and it’ll be chilly overnight, with lows in the upper 30s and 40s, especially on Wednesday and Thursday.

There’s still a chance for some patchy frost, particularly on Thursday and Friday mornings, especially north of the I-4 corridor in rural, sheltered areas.

By Saturday, temps will warm up a bit to the low to mid 70s ahead of the next front. Overnight temperatures will also become more seasonable by the weekend, with lows in the 50s and 60s.

Ahead of the front, a few spotty showers can’t be ruled out with coverage between 20-30%.
