ORLANDO, Fla. – A weak cold front will continue to move through Florida on Tuesday, bringing more moisture with it.
Showers are most likely south of Orlando and Cape Canaveral, where there’s plenty of energy in the atmosphere to get them going. A few storms can’t be ruled out, producing lightning, gusty winds.
Along with this, the sea breeze will develop and move inland, which could trigger a few more showers, by the afternoon and evening.
Expect cloudy skies Tuesday, with temperatures in the upper 70s to mid-80s.
Wednesday & Thursday:
After Tuesday’s front weakens, a second front will move through on Wednesday, bringing drier air. This will lead to mostly clear skies and very low chances of rain.
The wind will shift from the north on Wednesday to a breezier, more northeasterly wind on Thursday. Temperatures will stay warm, hitting the low to mid-80s on Wednesday, then cooling slightly to the mid-70s to low 80s on Thursday.
Friday to Monday:
By the end of the week, high pressure will settle over the area, keeping things dry on Friday and Saturday. Clouds will increase on Saturday, though.
On Sunday, there’s a chance for another weak front to approach the area. It’s still unclear when and where it will hit. For now, expect a 20-40% chance of rain on Sunday, with some lingering rain possible on Monday.
