World Central Kitchen offering free meals in DeLand for people impacted by Hurricane Milton

DELAND, Fla. – World Central Kitchen, a nonprofit that offers food relief around the world, announced they will be offering free means in DeLand and 19 other Florida locations on Saturday for those affected by Hurricane Milton.

WCK officials said they will be at the Volusia County Fairgrounds located at 3150 East New York Ave. starting at 12 p.m.

As Florida and FEMA get organized to help after Hurricane Milton, community groups and nonprofits are already fanning out, trying to help people who need everything from food to cooling and comfort stations to help clearing debris.
