ORLANDO, Fla. – There's a risk of severe weather Friday in Central Florida.
A front will push through the region, bringing the possibility of strong winds, lightning, heavy rain and tornadoes.
"The timeline for the severe risk is mainly from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Before that, we will have off-and-on scattered showers, with a few thunderstorms in the northern zones."
Orlando will see a high near 80 degrees, with an 80 percent chance of rain. The average high on this date is 73.
Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.

"Rain will linger into the first half of the day on Saturday before clearing out," Bridges said. "By Sunday, we can expect lots of sunshine and cooler temperatures behind the front."
Saturday will see a high of 75, with a 60 percent chance of rain.
The high on Sunday will be 69, with sunny skies and no rain.
