ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Central Florida's new downtown campus received a big boost from the City of Orlando.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, the city council voted to give 10.9 acres of land valued at $14.6M to UCF for the planned campus.

The joint campus for UCF and Valencia will form the heart of the city's long-planned Creative Village.
The campus is expected to open in fall of 2019.
