“We are thrilled to share this monumental achievement with the city of Orlando, all of Central Florida, and Solar Bear fans around the world,” Heller said. “We thank everyone for their continued support of Solar Bears hockey and their participation in this event.”
To qualify for the Guinness World Records attempt, participants had to follow specific criteria, ensuring that their Aloha shirts were short-sleeved, buttoned from top to bottom, and comprised of at least three colors and a pattern.
All shirts had to be commercially available to ensure fairness in the record-breaking accomplishment, according to the Solar Bears.
The Orlando Solar Bears wore unique Beach Night jerseys during the record-breaking game, which are now available for auction.
