ORLANDO, Fla. – One of Central Florida’s last remaining Graffiti Junktion burger joints is set to close as the Thornton Park location announced its final day of operation this week.

The Thornton Park Graffiti Junktion will end its “15+ year adventure” on Sunday, July 28, the establishment said on social media.

News 6 confirmed over the phone that the chain’s Thornton Park location is still considered the “original” Graffiti Junktion. It moved in 2016 to its current home along East Washington Street just a stone’s throw west of where it opened in 2008, now occupied by Cavo’s Bar & Kitchen.

“On behalf of the staff we thank everyone for over a decade of support and overwhelming love!” the location’s post states. “(We’d) love to see you all one last time this week as a new chapter begins for us and the block. Let’s make sure we go out with a bang!”

Following the closure of the Thornton Park location, only two of the Florida chain’s restaurants will remain. Closest to us is the Curry Ford location, not far from Orlando Executive Airport, with the other restaurant — Graffiti American Burger Bar — way off to the north in Jacksonville Beach.
