ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – It returned to the Sunshine State in 2021 by opening a restaurant near Walt Disney World — now White Castle has plans to expand.
“The overwhelming reception we received in Central Florida when we opened in 2021 continues to connect us even closer to this great community. With that in mind, we are looking forward to opening new Castles. What we can share at this time is that we have confirmed sites in Clermont, and in Kissimmee,” Jamie Richardson, vice president of the brand said in a statement.

White Castle filled permits to build a “5,000 square foot quick service restaurant in the I-Drive district.”
According to the permit filed, this new restaurant would be built off the Northeastern corner of Universal Boulevard and McKenna Drive. Which is five minutes away from the soon-to-be-built Universal’s Epic Universe.
At this time, it is not known when the new locations will open.
“We’ll have even more news and details to share about these new locations soon, so stay tuned,” Richardson said in a statement about the Kissimmee and Clermont locations.
Meanwhile, the only ‘Castles’ in Florida are in Orlando and are located at:
- 11595 Daryl Carter Parkway
- 11814 Glass House Lane ( a ‘Crave & Go’ location that only offers pick-up and delivery)
