SANFORD, Fla. – Two girls were killed in a crash involving a Seminole County school bus on Friday afternoon, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the bus was heading west on Ronald Reagan Boulevard just before 4:30 p.m. when an eastbound car made a left hand turn toward the State Road 417 ramp and into the path of the bus.
11-year-old Ashlie Ramos who was killed was a passenger in the Mazda 626 and 7-year-old Nyasia Quinones, who was sitting in the back of the car, was also pronounced dead Friday night.
The female driver was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
According to the Seminole County Public School transportation director, the bus was transporting 3 students from the Eugene Gregory Juvenile Justice Center to their homes.
No one on the bus was injured. All students, who are enrolled in an alternative education program in Seminole County schools, are now home.
Local 6 news helicopter Sky 6 flew over the crash scene as authorities investigated, showing the bus with its front hood off and the other vehicle's passenger side crushed in.

Meanwhile, two people have died in an Orange County motorcycle crash and one person is in critical condition. The crash occurred on Turkey Lake Road at Central Florida Parkway.
