WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating what they're calling an "obvious homicide", after finding a man dead in his apartment.
Deputies told Local 6 they received a call from the man's wife Friday evening after she said her husband never showed up to pick her up from work.
They said by the time they got to the Sun Bay Apartments on Aloma Avenue in Winter Park, the woman had gotten a ride home from someone else. She and a deputy entered the apartment together, and that's when deputies said they found the man in his 40s, dead.
Deputies have not yet said what the cause of death is, nor identified the victim.
Investigators were still on the scene well into Saturday morning.
