No description found

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – A bomb threat was reported Thursday morning at Lake Brantley High School in Altamonte Springs, prompting a search of the campus, according to officials.

Altamonte Springs police said a man called the dispatch center around 6:30 a.m. and made the threat.  Police said the threat turned out to be a hoax, and a search failed to find any suspicious devices.

Students were kept outside of the school while bomb-sniffing dogs searched the buildings, but they were allowed to enter once the search ended.

The school notified parents of the threat via phone message.

The threat comes a few weeks after several Seminole County elementary schools were evacuated over bomb threats.  No arrests have been made in that case, and it's not known if the threats were related.

An investigation is ongoing.
